Service – Light Of Life

Service

Our Services
Through our members’ pledges and individual donations, we have been able to currently give
assistance to and sustain an average of 35 (boys & girls) children in the Kwekwe district
communities with educational assistance, basic food and counselling services including
psychosocial support since the organisation’s registration in 2007. The children are referred
to us through the department of social development and undergo an internal vetting process
before being accepted under our program. We care for children in their natural habitat, as
they live in their homes. We aim to significantly contribute to the UN Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) of promoting good education, zero hunger, no poverty, good
health and well-being, gender equality and climate action. We are also contributing to social
protection for all in the National Development Goals (NDS1).
